Round Dance Ceremony
This year, we are hosting a community Round Dance Ceremony as the Opening of our 29th Annual Kensington Market Winter Solstice, to express gratitude and support to Indigenous leadership and land acknowledgement. At this time there will be a Special Honouring of Indigenous Youth and their services to the community through the Giveaway ceremony.
The Round Dance Ceremony will be held on Saturday December 15th, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at the United Steelworkers Hall - 25 Cecil St. Toronto.
We are receiving monetary donations, sponsorships, or items for the Round Dance Giveaway Ceremony from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All donations will be recognized. We thank you in advance for contributing to the building of community solidarity and Indigenous resurgence.
